WHAT IS BEAUTY?...OR WHAT IS BEAUTIFUL TO YOU?

Beauty is subjective. It is different in every culture or in every country. What you might find attractive might not be the case in another culture.

Let's take this as an example: Skin color.

In most Asian countries, pale skin has always been regarded as THE epitome of beauty. In our country, most especially, you rarely get a chance in the (showbiz) spotlight if you don't sport a (naturally or unnaturally) fair skin. In Europe, on the other hand, pale skin signifies overworked and underpaid. It is often identified with low class employees who don't earn enough to spend even a day in a beach to get a tan.

The bottomline, nobody knows for sure what beauty really is or what exacty personifies the ideal of beauty.

Considering that there's no universal standard for beauty, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO CALL YOURSELF UGLY....

Everyone, in that case, is beautiful.

Got tan skin or skin as white as snow? Embrace it! Flaunt it... YOu might not be considered royalty in your culture but another culture will accept you with open arms. Besides, as long as you have smooth and buttery skin, skin color is never an issue...

Too shy about that big booty? Think about Jennifer Lopez. Her bum propelled her to celebrity status. Well, atleast she got known for that ass-et of hers. And since then, women all over the world have followed that trend. Kylie Minogue even went to the point to have her buttocks augmented.

Forget about straightening that hair too. Nicole Kidman was a charmer when she had those cute strawberry curls. And I never had that problem with my curly hair too. :) Be proud of it. And it's going back in style as well.

Be proud of what you have. You will always be beautiful no matter what everyone says...
